I remember my friend's mom running an add for gopher snakes in the classified 
of the local paper to rid their TB farm of gophers.  They got almost 100 
snakes, at about $3 each.  Solved their problem in about 2 weeks.

If you don't mind the snakes, could be a quick fix.
