The published studies demonstrated that hoof quality contuned to improve for
almost three years before you got maximum response. I've had my horses on
biotin for over three years now and they all have feet like iron---and I
certainly want the new horn tissue coming in to be as strong as what I
already have. So, IMO, biotin is well worth continuing indefinitely.
