That's not the point. The point is that prices where I am have gone up over 
50% in LESS THAN ONE WEEK.  Actually more than that.  A week ago my husband 
could get gas for under a dollar a gallon.  Now it's $1.65---and that's the 
cheap stuff.

Imagine if all of our other consumables did that?

I don't care if gas were to cost $4 a gallon....that'd be fine with me.  If 
that is what it cost, that is what it costs.  The reason I complained is 
that the price has gone up substantially in such a short time.
