She HAS a good reason--she knows it works! Tie an innertube securely to the
trailer, and then tie her to the inner tube. It has "give" so she doesn't
hurt herself, and it will "sproing" her back when she lets up. Be SURE that
she has a halter and lead on that she CANNOT break, and that the tube is also
securely tied to the trailer. She needs to learn that a) she cannot get
loose, and that b) setting back isn't any fun!
