RE: How to discourage beginners
Hey,
Can't speak for actually being at a ride with Angie (will let you know
after Longstreet's Charge in May), but I did meet her at a Chatt. Horse Club
meeting. She's very outgoing and dragged me out of my shell to meet Kati
and June and a pack of other people that I don't even remember their names
(sorry!!!). She also helped persuade me to actually ride Apache at the
Longstreet's charge instead of just volunteering or crewing. I doubt I'd be
as ready to ride if it wasn't for her. And, Angie, if you see me doing
something wrong, please don't seethe (or beat the hell out of me <cower>), a
stern "stop that, you idiot!" will probably work just fine! :)
