At the risk of getting flamed here...what happens if you don't want to move up
to 50's?  Not the horse, but the rider.  Shouldn't there be some sort of
recognition for doing the 25's in the best condition.  I love to ride and I
love the competition, but personally, I don't want to do 50 miles.  I like my
25 mile LD's and don't see the need to change.  Isn't the AERC trying to force
the issue of riding 50 milers?
