RC: supplements msm and flex free
I have a 16-year-old gelding that raced for 6 years. He also worked in
third-level dressage after that. He has a fused ankle from his racing career.
I have had him on MSM for years and find it does help with his ankle. Without
it, his is noticeably stiffer. He is out 24/7, which helps also but the MSM
seems to give him just a bit more flexibility.
This horse does 20-mile rides at a CTR pace and is sound at the finish. He
does take a little more time to warm up and his gate is a bit lop-sided but
he, shall we say, "goes sound." I've had him for 6 years and have also tried
flex-free and numerous other products but always come back to MSM. It works
for him. It may take some trial and error to see which product works best for
your horse. Remember that MSM takes a few weeks to get into his system.
Good luck.
