infectious diseases that we now vaccinate for were ALREADY on the decrease
due to natural immunity of the population. There was a little blip of
polio in 1948 in the UK due to hygiene problems in the cities post-WW2 but
then was starting to go back down again. THe decrease in disease incidence
was already occurring before the advent of vaccinations. Check your
history if you doubt >>
I am going to shock a lot of people--but after extensive personal research I
stopped vaccinating my horses for anything but tetanus. Ten years now that my
horses have recieved a yearly tetanus booster and nothing else. They have
never been healthier. My dogs and cats recieve tetenus and rabies/distemper.
My 10 year old daughter is Non-immunized. She is the healthiest kid in the
county, if not state. I could go into my reasons for not immunizing my child
but this is not the forum--I will respond to private e-mails on the subject
AS LONG AS they are not simply rants on "how you are endangering your child
and others"--only queries genuinly wanting information etc.
Interesting that this subject came up--I am currently writing an article on
vaccination hazards, and was about to ask the group to send me (privately)
any negative anecdotal stories/experiences you've seen in your animals with
vaccines---so now I'm askin'! All replies greatly appreciated!
