We had used one for about a year. It seemed fine until we got to the 50-60
mile rides and then it tended to make our stallion sore about the scapula. So
we switched to Orthflex and have had no such trouble. I think the Syd Hill is
wonderful for LD but not for longer mileage. HOWEVER... there are some top
riders who still use them, so I guess it is up to your horse.
