Outstanding point. As most of y'all know I've spent a lot more years in
the arena then on the trail. Y'all probably know me to be an eventer as
well. Unfortunately that's come to an end. Anyway getting back to the
point dressage makes your horse supple and that translates to a horse
with more endurance capabilites. Erin McChesney wrote a series of 3
outstanding articals about 3-4 years back for trailblazer that are simply
marvelous.
As several of you who also frequent E-L know I've trained for a bit with
Lynn Roberts an outstanding trainer/rider now residing in Monterey. She
once won a silver medal in the Olympics for Canada. Anyway she told me
that Becky Hart (and Judith as well) have been taking lessons from her.
There definately is something to it.
