[RC] RE forerunner 405 and horses - Jessica Raines - Roger Rittenhouse

Yes you can adapt ANY and ALL human chest-belt type transmitter for use with your horse using my kit.
That includes the GARMIN 301 305 and 405CX.

The Garmin GPS units WITHOUT a HR option cannot be adapted for HR on the horse

The G310 is a better option then the 405CX. The screen is larger, more options, longer battery life per charge. A really nice tool. I have been using this for a few weeks...all this bad weather, I have not been able to ride much. Beats the 301 and 305 for overall performance and ease of use.
However all these type of devices are or can be technically complex. Have to read the book :)

The adapter kit for the assorted Garmin chest-belt transmitters made by me are available from THE DISTANCE DEPOT

The kit for the G310 is coming. The connections to the little block transmitter are different. I hope to have that at the convention.
