RE: [RC] treeless saddles - Jen SimonsThis may be true for some treeless saddles on some horses, but certainly not all! Like with treed saddles, not all treeless fit ALL horses. You need to get a good quality treeless, and just as important, a GOOD treeless saddle PAD! Skimp and you will regret it! I have been riding in a treeless for 2 years (LD endurance only - pony not made to do 50s!). It has solved a lot of back problems for us (hers AND mine!). I even "cured" a borrowed QH's back problems on a 20M CT ride this fall by using my saddle. We have never gotten less than A's on back. No white hairs have appeared and our sweat patters are even. I like mine. A good site for treeless information is the Yahoo group TreelessSaddles... http://groups.yahoo.com/group/treelesssaddles/ Jen ------------------------------------------------------------ From: "Bobbie Brown" <lokirabba@xxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [RC] Treeless Saddles The only negative info that I have gathered on a treeless are the = leathers that carry the stirrups which are connected to the center of = the saddle result in pressure upon the spine...then soreness, and = eventually tissue damage. I looked at many treeless saddles, and came up with the same conclusion.
