Some of the best movies I've ever seen had non "A" movie actors. So I personally hope I don't see Tom Cruise or Julia Roberts trying to be an endurance rider!! :) Usually I like the A actors back when they were considered "nobodys"!

A-list actors and a 5 million dollar budget? Really? I can't think of any A-list actors they could get for that amount and still have anything left over for other actors and the movie!
Haven't seen any discussion of this proposed movie. Anybody know anything about this? I can't imagine why it had to be a two day TWO hundred mile
race, and I guess it's too much to ask that someone would understand that it's the trail that tries to beat us so we don't REQUIRE a villain who is a jerk to focus our competitiveness towards. Anybody acquainted with the folks who have come up with this? Just curious as to whether they have a real endurance background. If you click on the link it pretty much outlines the plot. Not sure what an "elegant" horse endurance race is. The log line reads:
