I'd have to hire someone to put them on and take them off everytime I rode.The only thing "annoying" about them was getting them off after going through all that boot sucking red clay mud! ha ha. Absolutely covered. Plus, I had fallen off and hurt my shoulder. Thank god for riding buddies to help pull the boots off ;-) They may require a tad bit more force to put on and take off than the renegades, but once they're on, they're on.<< Some people have replaced the velco with dog collars. And, you can play with the velcro to make justThose straps are just my nemesis, and what makes the difference between the two boots for me.<< the right combination of you. I get little zip ties at the hardware store. On long rides I take off the o-rings and slip on a zip tie. I cut them off when I get back and we're ready to go.
