[RC] Munchkins - Bruce Weary DCNancy said: "Today I am home caring for our five disabled children (adopted & foster should you wonder about just how bad my luck has been). Some medical professionals see little value in their lives. I see happy comfortable "different" people. I think their lives have value every day including that of a little munchkin I am going to go cuddle in a minute who has the horrific diagnosis of shaken baby syndrome."In this moment, I don't care about FEI, drug policies, AERC's budget, the recession, Tevis buckles, the correct "lead," barefoot horses, National Champions, conventions, Board meetings, protests, or anything else that could disappear tomorrow, and the world would barely notice. Instead, I am thankful for the good fortune and good health I enjoy, and the family I love and that loves me. I am embarrassed by the pettiness I can engage in from time to time, and vow to do a little less of that in 2010, and thereafter.
