[RC] Instructors in the Salinas, CA area - Melinda Faubel

A non-profit that I am a member of, is putting on an event designed to help our beginning riders improve their horsemanship skills.?
?
This year, instead of the normal overworked volunteer from inside the organization trying to give the instruction, we are interested in actually HIRING an instructor for the day.? I'm responsible for coordinating this part of the event and would appreciate any leads in the Salinas, CA area, where the clinic is held.? Here's a brief overview of what I want.
?
An instructor to teach 4 mounted classes on February 13th.? Classes would be 30-40 minutes in length.? We are capping the participation level at ~5-6 horses per session.? Each horse will have 2 people assigned to it - while one person is riding, the other person will be participating in a dismounted educational clinic.?
?
The morning class would be general horsemanship/balanced riding/dressage basics (taught twice).? The afternoon class would be a trail/obstacle class with poles, flags etc.? (also taught twice).? If a the instructor was only available to teach in the morning, that's fine, I think I can stumble my way through telling a bunch of people to go through poles.
?
The instructor, if they wanted, would be allowed to offer private lessons for additional instruction to the participants and staff after the classes are over/at the lunch hour etc.? This would be set up between instructor and student (ie - the instructor gets the full amount of the lesson)
?
Meals will be provided
?
1-2 helpers will be provided, including a grounds person to set up courses etc.
?
We plan to have 20x40m dressage court set up, a small arena, and an obstacle course.? We are willing to cater to whatever set up the instructor would like.
?
Most of the students will be adults on the organization's horses (standardbreds from the track that usually pull cannons).? Nothing fancy is required, just fun exercises to boost confidence level.?
?
So does anyone have any leads?? Or does this describe something you would be capable of?? My e-mail is mnfaubel AT gmail DOT com.? I would like to get something settled as soon as possible so we can set the fee for the participants (so it covers food and instruction).?
