No, I think that sounds right. Isn't that a longer version of "post to the most" which means to post to the outside diagonal?

That means the outside of the bend, circle, trail or diagonal you want to post on.
If you ride counter-arc that means bent the opposite way you are traveling, the wall is still on the outside. As is the outside rein.
Now perhaps I've confused everything ;)
