Long about the late 70's or so, the nationals were in Reno and the endurance horses were presented there. It was so long ago, I can't remember the exact date. I remember it because I was in first place for the purebred arabs about 5 miles from the finish when my horse fell and skinned up her face. She had to be stitched up at the vet check and would not have made a good showing for endurance horses................mb
