Re: [RC] Magnesium as a calming agent - Elizabeth WalkerWell, dang ... yet another vet bill. Guess I'll have to have Caisson's blood tested ... I'm assuming that hypomagnesium will show up in a blood test.I put Caisson on a Magnesium/B1 supplement a couple of months ago - my trainer was getting frustrated at his inability to concentrate for more than a nanosecond, not to mention his spooking at things that I *know* he isn't scared of. We have both noticed a difference - he quit spooking at nothing, and began making some real progress. Now I guess I'll have to do a "blind test" :). I'll have to have him tested, then pull the supplement and have him tested again in a month and see where he is, as well as see whether my trainer notices a difference if I don't tell her I pulled the supplement. :) Sigh.
