Re: [RC] ACL surgery - Mickie Newnam

Mine wasn't strictly ACL -- only 10% tear there but I had tears in both the medial and lateral meniscus (I don't do anything halfway, you see). I had surgery June 3rd and was riding in 2 months. Knee feels great; now I just have to work on the arthritis -- Synvisc injection tomorrow!

For those of you that have dealt with ACL surgery, how long before you were healed enough to ride again, and did you have any troubles, as far as being able to ride?  I'm looking at surgery in December.
