Just a note of thanks and congratulations to all the rescue personnel who,
again, stepped up to help in a time of need. The horse and rider rescued
from alongside the American River are among the thousands and thousands of
humans and animals who would probably not survive if not for their heroic
and selfless acts of bravery, determination and commitment.
