Why I love horses. When I am on Casino zooming down the trail the world falls away and we enter a certain zone where nothing matters but the partnership between me and him. It's about seeing what's around the next bend in the trail. It's about the feeling I get only when I'm on my horse, where we get so attuned to each other that I
don't even have to touch the reins, we move faster and slower, bend left and right simply off body language. I don't reach that state often but when I do it's magical. I ride each time hoping for it.
