As for houses in the hills, as was mentioned by Kathy Sherman, the fire
appears to have started from a remote area to the west of Lockheed's facility,
on a brushy ridge where there are 4-6 houses or cabins. The folks do not
appear to be friendly, so we don't even know who they are. It's a great
place to grow "pot" up there...so remote. Reports say two houses were lost,
but we don't know for sure.
