Re: [RC] Envy - Diane TrefethenBruce,I agree with your basic premise, that I know me best and can therefore express what I believe better than anyone else. However, I also think that just a bare handful of us are emotionally healthy enough to never lie to ourselves and that having lied to ourselves, it is only natural that we tell the same lies to others as well. So while I CAN be the best authority on what I mean when I speak, I could also be saying what I have practiced saying because I think it sounds better or paints a kinder picture of me.
