I really don't care what the UAE's motivation is: concern for the horses, or PR opportunity. Regardless, the UAE has a lot of experience in the form of "elite level Veterinary Support", as well as experience in the logistics of putting on races involving equines. They also have lots of money. :)I also think the FEI is being *extremely* careful to stay out of the whole issue - at least officially - which is probably wise.
