Back at'cha! Thank you for taking such good care of Sanshra. I thoroughly enjoyed riding with you. For the rest of you folks -- Ft. Meade is a great ride, it was my first time there but I loved it. I was pleasantly surprised at how well Via did on his first 50, and how strong he was at the end. He lost both front shoes on the third leg of the ride (that's another story), and we lost over 30 minutes at the gate & go while I had shoes put on (I gotta get easyboots that fit him). We didn't push the horses on the last leg, just bopped along, but still caught those who passed us in the gate & go. Marirose and I ran in the last 3/4 of a mile and Via still recovered quickly. I think I have a keeper here.
