I rode the Big Horn 100 last year when Tevis was canceled. I think there were 27 riders in the 100 in 2008, largely because of the Tevis cancellation. It's a fantastic ride and like Joe said should be on the "must do" list. I hope to get back out there in a few years to do it again.

What a shame that only seven riders entered this wonderful ride. ?It is
my favorite ride of all, hands down. ?I wasn't there because neither my
horse nor ?I are ready for a 100 at this time, but I want so badly to
get back again.

This is a ride worth traveling across the country to ride. ?I believe
that it should be on every endurance riders "must do" list.

My fear is, how long will the volunteers who put this ride on continue
doing all that hard work for so few riders? ?What a terrible loss if the
ride should ever be discontinued.
