[RC] Benefit Trail Ride at White River - K HanesThis weekend the Horse Developmental Committee of Newaygo County is hosting a benefit trail ride using the 10 mile loop from the White River Rides.One of our 4-H horse families had a terrible fire in December and lost everything. Donations are not required but will be appreciated to help them rebuild their home, barn and lives. I will be marking the 10 mile loop on Friday but you are welcome to ride whichever loop you choose. I will be putting out horse water at Wayne Gastfield's property (CC Camp) where there also is a porta potty. We will be using Timbers Edge Campground for the starting point. Cost is $7 to park your rig for the day. If you wish to stay the night please call Pete at the campground and make arrangements with him at 231-854-0092. Our plan is to start out at 10 am Saturday, May 30. Please come and join the fun, this is a great time to get in a good conditioning ride and help out a 4-H family at the same time.
