[RC] Cleaning Toklat pads - Lynn White

If I plan on using the washing machine to clean my Toklat pad I have to wait
until my husband is our of town for the evening, as he has very little
tolerance for any appurtenances of horses in the home, and this includes horse
hair. But when I do clean horse stuff, I make a night of it and put all my
biothane in the dishwasher too. I then clean/bleach out the washing machine
and dishwasher and nobody is the wiser. Of course if he ever asks me exactly
what I do when he's gone I'd have to fess up, but that hasn't happened yet.

Seriously, to accelerate the drying process, roll your wet pad in towels or
ShamWow towells and jump on the rolled mess a couple times. Do this a couple
"cycles" and hang the pad in the sunshine. The ShamWows really do work for
this.
