FW: [RC] fly masks at night - Mike SherrellIf you look at it while it's on, you can tell if the mask has gotten cruddy. If you grab them right, you can lead the horse around with it. You know your horse is comfortable with you if you can walk up to it and put the flymask on it. I have a horse who gets eye issues in high winds, and leaving the fly mask on all the time during those conditions really helps. They have never shown me to act any different in the bright sun vs. night with their masks on. Go out in the dark, and hold the mask up, the same distance from your eyes, as the horses wear them, and I think you will find you can see through them fine.
