A lot of people are spooked by what happened to Natasha Richardson-- 
most of us probably don't need to worry unduly though.

I think they're suspecting she had an pre-existing aneurysm that was  
likely to burst with very little trauma.  That's probably why they  
couldn't save her despite giving excellent medical care in a fairly  
prompt manner.

Most people's skulls are pretty robust.  Having said that, of course  
one should be watchful.  I wouldn't stress out worrying over every  
little bump though--that's kinda falling into the "fragile egg"  
theory of the brain--similar to the "fragile environment" theories  
about nature.  Brains and nature both recover from all sorts of  
trauma.....
