Re: [RC] Rider Cards - Barbara McCraryAs I mentioned in an earlier message, I keep the rider cards because all of the critical information is listed thereon. I prepare excruciatingly detailed ride results that I send to all riders. In all our many years of managing rides, there is rarely more than one rider who asks for his/her card. I will send it along with the ride results. I then keep the remaining rider cards for one year, after which I toss them.Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kathy Mayeda" <klmayeda@xxxxxxxxx> To: "Truman Prevatt" <tprevatt@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Cc: "marybenstover" <merryben@xxxxxxxxxxx>; <rides2far@xxxxxxxx>; <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, March 11, 2009 2:25 PM Subject: Re: [RC] Rider Cards
I've been in-timer and done P&R and seen it where the in-timer just basically disappears into thin air, and know that when a bunch of horses come in at the same time, anything can happen. Both on the in-timers list and on the cards. I still don't think that not getting your vet card after the ride is the end of the world. What drama. K. If there is a mistake it's most likely going to be on the card since the list is basically the official record.
