[RC] Eagle Ranch Ride CT region - Kathleen A. CrothersI'm late replying to this post but I've been to the ride at Eagle Ranch several times. Great camp and nice stalls for the horses. The electric sites have all been reserved from what I hear but plenty of parking in the primative area. The trails are a mix of single track wooded trails going up and down small hills with some rocks and some flat areas to make good time on. Plenty of water on trail and great ride management. Well marked trails but you have to pay attention to the markings on trail and the directions at the ride meeting since the trails are farily close together at times. I think there have been some changes in the trails for this year so this may help. Winnie, the ride manager, has been working hard to scout out the best trails for her ride and she does a top notch job when it comes to managing a ride. The head vet, Dr. Leon Self ,is a very experienced ride vet so this is another plus for the ride. Hope to see you there.
