We are lucky to have a good relationship with our
vet. That is he knows that we are good for the bills. When we left
last year for a month in AZ we left a specific authorization for the caretakers,
and a professional horse breeder neighbor, to contract for care, the limitations
on care, and authorization for the vet to euthanize if in his/her opinion it was
the proper course of action.
We, obviously, left contact numbers, but knew that
sometimes you can't be reached even in our communication obsessed
age.
