Re: [RC] Low Heel & wedge pad - lori gainesBoth of the horses I've competed on, have one low heel and one high. (on opposite feet,so I know it's not something I'm doing.) I trim my own horses so I just trim them to where they are even, taking more heel off the high foot, backing the toe more on the low foot. For a while I tried letting the higher foot stay that way and tried to get the foot with less heel grow more heel by not trimming it. That was back before I studied natural trimming and still had shoes on my horses. I started having lameness problems on the high heeled foot. Luckily not both horses at the same time. So after about 15 years of trial and error, I would never use a wedge pad. My horses will be 20 and 25 this year and are still sound. Hoping to do a few more rides on them this year. (been away for a few years) Need to get that mustang going soon. Lori Lauren Horn <4horn4@xxxxxxx> wrote: I would like to know how many of you are competing horses with mis-
