Re: [RC] feed prices...the rest of the story :) - Sharon LevasseurWeather that cold is rarely accompanied by lightning, at least in MY experience! Because of the hail, if it were me, I'd be looking around for a tornado.-Sharon L. in Maine Quoting Barbara McCrary <bigcreekranch@xxxxxxxxxxxx>: Central coast CA, 60 miles south of San Francisco and within sight of the Pacific Ocean: 37 degrees at 8:00 AM. Two lightning strikes at around 2:30 AM, one of them about 1/4 mile away (based on time lapse between lightning and thunder.) This was quickly followed by a violent hail storm, only pea-sized, thank goodness. The weather is a bit bizarre for here. I know, I know, 37 degrees F is not cold compared to Montana, Wyoming, Colorado or Maine, but it is cold for coastal CA. It's all a matter of what you are used to. It's now raining again....we're so grateful for that. Not good riding weather. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
