I got on this kick back in 2000/2001 when I started the barefoot
hoof thing. A year later my horse was colicking every few months (not serious
colics, just enough to alarm). Had the vet out to check him out and he had a
really bad encysted strongyle infection. Went back to conventional worming
methods REALLY fast!
