Hi Evelyn - I assume it's for security purposes. There are guards posted at every stable 24 hours, plus officials and veterinarians have 24 hour access. But riders/staff/crew have general restrictions. In Malaysia stables are open to authorized individuals (rider/groom with pass) 7am to noon, and 1pm to 7pm.
