Re: [RC] Need Bored horse help - Sharon LevasseurWhat about balls that treats fall out of when they're rolled around? http://www.rods.com/Product.aspx?display_id=6786 Uncle Jimmy's Hanging Balls are great too, but you might need to rig something up to be able to hang it under cover...? http://www.adamshorsesupply.com/browse.cfm/4,6391.html For my guy, having a pile of dirt to play King of the Mountain on is always good. Tug O' War works great with rubber feed pans, traffic cones, and the like. Plastic detergent bottles tied together with a 2' length of thickish rope works great... horse can put the rope in the mouth and nod his head vigorously while chasing the other horse. Just a couple ideas... -Sharon L. in Maine Quoting "Keith W. Kibler" <kwkibler@xxxxxxxxxxx>: This is a weird one, well at least for me. We have 11 horses. Two of the geldings that we use in Endurance have their own stalls and an acre corral they spend most of their time in. Plenty of hay, water, grain twice a day. Two mares on one side and on the other side is our mare herd. The mares have acres to explore but frequently come to a hay ring to flirt and eat. The geldings love interacting with the mares on both sides of them. Here is the rub. They are bored. I would love to have them entertained more. Balls dont seem to phase them or interest him. Suggestions for what has worked for any of you?
