I have a 9 year old NSH who my
daughter calls “spasi Jazzi.” So you can guess she can be a handful
at times. Jazzi is much more attentive to things and is very sensitive. She
has the most comfortable gaits in the entire world and a huge walk. For
any of you who have done CTR, when we do a novice CTR we can walk the entire course
and still need to wait out on the trail to come in on time. My neighbor has a
12 year old NSH gelding and he is just about bomb proof with the same lovely
gaits and big walk.
I think they can be hotter,
which implies more spook for your money, but the gaits and comfort win hands
down for me. Ask Heather what she thinks about Corey; they have tons of miles
together. Thanks for asking,
