There are a bunch of starving cows in the Antioch area that some co-workers
saw during the course of a site visit.  They have reported the incident to
Contra Costa Animal Control and supposedly the owners of the cows say he is
feeding them but there are carcasses on the ground and that they are old.
Well they may be old but they are still calving and one calf was standing
next to its dead mother.    Animal control probably doesn't really know how
to handle large animal issues.   None of us live in the area (and I
personally didn't see them) but does anyone have an idea on who to contact
either at Animal Control or a private organization that might be able to
help.  Email me directly if you can give advice or contact information.
