I guess what I have IS the Garmin 305 with HRM adapter kit
for horses (from you). I mistyped when I wrote that it was a Polar transmitter
(my other one is a Polar). So is there not any other “simple” HR
receiver (no GPS or other data needed) that I could use to continue monitoring
the HR after the 305 battery dies on a ride?
