[RC] Swanton Pacific entries full - Barbara McCrary
We have just received the last few entries to make our maximum quota.
Any future entries will be put on a waiting list. We have never had
enough riders for this event before. I am sorry if we have to turn someone
down, but we feel there will not be enough room for any more riders at the vet
checks. As it is, parking will be very difficult, so we will be asking for
crews to car pool. No trailers, other than our assigned rescue rigs, will
be allowed at vet checks. Also NO DOGS at vet checks,
because the two 1-hour holds are both on park property where dogs are
NOT ALLOWED.
We were out flagging part of the trail today, and it looks beautiful.
The 100-mile riders will be returning to the original route from Waterman Gap,
used for so many years, down to the Old Haul Road. There had been a
missing bridge for about 3 years.
We're looking forward to hosting the entrants and their crews. It's
going to be an exciting ride.
If you were planning to ride, please keep in touch with us, as there have
been a very few cancellations, allowing for others to fill in the spaces.
