This really does need an official clarification from AERC. You are indicating that after the rider has decided to withdraw, it is the vet that determines the pull code, be it L or RO-L (or M, RO-M). I am saying that, the rider, having decided to withdraw AND determining their reason for withdrawing, has determined their pull code and the vet evaluation is simply to insure that the horse is not in jeopardy, but NOT for the purposes of determining a reason for disqualification of the horse. I just took a quick look at the rules and could not find the reference to "all horses being required to have a vet exam after they are withdrawn from competition". Can anyone quote the specific rule? (p.s. I did find lots of references to post completion evaluations) jt =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
