RE: [RC] Pull codes - Jannelle Wilde & Adam Falk-----Original Message----- From: rjkopp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx .....At the first check at 25 miles the vet saw " something" when I trotted my horse out. Thought it was in the right front, not enough to pull me, but something " to watch.......I pulled - thinking if there was something going on another 25 miles probably wouldn't do it any good. The vet said since he wasn't pulling me it would be a Rider Option - lame.......Now, I should go and check the ride record and see if in fact I am down as a RO-L..... Remember that AERC has a goal of research and uses the pull codes to keep stats and gather info to help us keep our horses in good shape. The purpose of RO -L, -M, -S is to help better understand why a rider would want to RO. I have several RO- L over the years because I try to be safe. The only time I have had a real RO was when I was to sick to continue or got so lost on the trail we could not finish a 50 without doing 70 miles. Just because you are not lame enough to be pulled by the vet does not mean that you are not lame. Jannelle Wilde & Adam Falk 584 Romie Howard Rd.
