A lawsuit between an individual and a vet is a dispute between that individual and the vet unless the ridemanager or potentially the AERC is also named in the suit. I would expect that it would be a little difficult to justify banning the person from rides based solely on the fact he/she filed a lawsuit.While I tend to agree that we have too much litigation - it is our primary source of dispute resolution if the two parties can't agree. When a professional, e.g., MD, vet, structural engineer, etc. have malpractice insurance, then they in reality give up any say in how a dispute will be resolved since the insurance company is at financial risk.
