That's a problem with the 305. More than once during a ride I've accidentally bumped the start/stop button and turned it off, while wearing it on my wrist. I don't look at it all the time, so by the time I notice that it's off I've missed an unknown amount of trail and my distance reading is useless. I wish they'd have a way to better protect that.
