Alexis,

riders have 30 min from the time they leave the trail to present to the vets. There is no rush, especially if you're not racing:) 10 min is no big deal mostly (keeping in mind you're still on the clock?until?you present:)

You're supposed to vet in as soon as you arrive at the checkpoint, right? But at Las Cruces one horse that came in soaking wet on that very cold day was led to the crew area and administered to for at least 10 minutes before someone walked over to see what was going on, having heard from another rider (it sounded like) that she was in the crewing area. I don't know if they were allowed to continue or not.
