A Morgan/QH cross cowpony I spent many hours working cattle with. The second was not mind but my Grandfathers TWH I spend innumerable hours riding just checking out the fences, finding strays, etc. Of course if my Grandfather was with me - I got the jackhammer trot of the cow pony. Life (without horses) got in the way :-( but then I got my wonderful mare. My greatest joy were the 100 mile rides I did on her. The silence of the dark night, a good horse, the open country - it was a spiritual experience. Then finally the Jbird. We been together it seems like since Moses was a teenagers. He knows me - I know him.
