Basedupon our face to face meeting with the US Forest Service today, theTevis Cup Ride has been cancelled due to increased fire risks along theNorth Fork of the Divide. Foresthill Road will remain closed based uponthe threat for at least two weeks. While the USFS was willing to workwith us to allow access to the trail via Mosquito Ridge, it wasdecided, due to the logistical problems and safety issues using thisroute, this was not a feasible option.
